Some of the best beachfront villas are found along The Golden Mile, stretching for four miles from the western edge of Marbella to the glitzy resort of Puerto Banus.
The Golden Mile is often described as the most prestigious part of Marbella, and there are plenty of luxury villas that can be found along this route. The benefit of staying in a villa along the Golden Mile is that the neighborhood will be particularly exclusive, often offering a gated community, and you will never be far from one of Marbella’s stunning beaches. The marina and the hub of nightlife are also close at hand, so you can simply take a stroll to visit any of the restaurants and bars open in the evening.
There are also a number of high-quality luxury villas set slightly further outside the town’s boundaries, and these shouldn’t be ruled out. Often less than a few minutes by car from the beach, they can offer a refreshing mountain breeze and a view of the rolling lush landscape on the inland side of the coast. Golf is a very popular sport in the area, and many of the top courses are set slightly away from the ocean. If you’re a fan, this can be a very good reason to consider a luxury villa further from the main drag.
Inside the Luxury Villas
Large or small, luxury villas in Marbella all have one thing in common: they are built to the highest standard, decorated with elegance and style, with immaculate gardens, maid and concierge facilities, and many with separate staff quarters in the grounds.
The number of bedrooms in the luxury villas can vary from 5 bedrooms designed to house 10-12 guests to 12-bedroom villas capable of providing sufficient space for parties of up to 24. Along with the bedrooms, there are often a matching number of bathrooms, many of which will be ensuite so that all guests can enjoy their own privacy and won’t have to wait to use the facilities.
All villas are furnished tastefully, and with elegance, regardless of whether they are a contemporary or traditional design. With fully equipped rooms, large dimensions and stylish décor, you will love your stay in Marbella whichever villa you ultimately choose.
Other Villa Amenities
Marbella’s luxury villas are also equipped very generously, with lots of features that you will not find in standard accommodation.
A home cinema, gymnasium, spa, sauna, Turkish bath, and Jacuzzi are just some of the extras that you might be able to enjoy in your villas. Some villas also offer private tennis courts, game rooms, and bars, for the ultimate entertainment you can enjoy without setting foot outside your luxury villa complex.
Outside Space
You can expect to be able to enjoy a significant amount of outside space within your villa’s private property, secluded and not accessible to anyone else.
The vast majority of the luxury villas in Marbella will have an outside pool, typically heated so that if you want to laze around your accommodation for the day, you can still enjoy a cooling dip. Palm trees and tropical landscaped gardens are usually included, along with barbecues and terraced areas where you can relax in the shade and enjoy a good book.
